I’ve been writing since I could first wrap my fingers around a crayon. But while my peers were busy coloring with theirs, I was using mine to write. And while I have upgraded my instruments since then, I’ve continued to enjoy every second of it. Who can blame me? After all, is there anything more powerful than words?
I graduated from high school and kept the writing going strong with numerous short stories and scripts along with Honey, a self-published comic book created and marketed by my writing partner Michael Mercadante and me. During this time, I was also doing some freelance work for a local newspaper, which was great experience in getting to know people, learn their stories, and share them with the community.
One Bachelor’s degree in English from Temple University and an eight-year career as a copywriter later, here I am. I’ve honed my skills by working with some of the best in the direct marketing business, learning the secrets to writing words that make people pay attention.
When I’m not writing, you can usually find me spending time with my wife and son, playing guitar, reading books, and fighting a never-ending battle to update my 117-year-old home for the 21st century.
